How can I manage access to the Warden extension for resellers, customers, and mail users?

Important: Warden does not support the permission system used by subscriptions as they are not accessible to third party extension like Warden.

The Warden permission system supports users created using the following methods:

  1. Sub-admins created using: Tools & Settings -> Additional Administrator Accounts. (Sub-admins have full access to everything in Warden).
  2. Resellers created using: Resellers -> Add reseller (Resellers only have access to their own customers and domains).
  3. Customers created using: Customers -> Add customer (Customers only have access to their own domains).
  4. Mail Users created using: Domain name -> Create Mail account (Mail users only have access to their own email. The user signs into Plesk using their full email and email password).

Administrators can manage access to the Warden extension for different user groups under Warden -> Settings -> Panel Application -> Permissions or from the command line interface:

warden --task=application:permissions

Permissions

Denying access to a specific permission will hide that area for that user group.

Permissions

If the administrator has granted access to an area then the user group will see a link to the extension when they login to Plesk.

Manage Warden

The user group will be able to manage their policies or view their logs for their domain and mailboxes.
