Overview
This procedure outlines how to restrict SSH access exclusively to your designated IP address while blocking inbound traffic on port 22 for all other sources using the Juggernaut Firewall.
Prerequisites
- Your public IP address must be whitelisted in the firewall configuration before proceeding. Failure to whitelist your IP will result in immediate lockout from the server.

Configuration Steps
- Navigate to Juggernaut Firewall > Settings > Firewall > Port Settings.
- Locate port 22 within the TCP in and TCP6 in configuration fields.
- Remove port 22 from both lists. This action blocks inbound SSH traffic for all addresses except those explicitly whitelisted.
- Click the Update button to save your changes.
- Click the Restart button to apply the updated firewall rules and reload the service.
Troubleshooting
- Unexpected Lockout: If SSH connectivity is lost after applying these changes, verify that your IP address was correctly whitelisted prior to removing port 22. Use the provider's emergency console or out-of-band management interface to restore access if necessary.
- Rules Not Applying: Ensure the firewall service completes its restart cycle. If issues persist, review the firewall logs for syntax errors or conflicting rules.
